DONATIONS

All donations are used directly to improve the comfort and quality of life for the residents during the golden years of their lives. Donations are never used for administrative purposes.Such items as our Dinsdale Handi-Bus for resident outings, our therapeutic garden in the summer, and most recently, our Atrium with fireplace for winter time enjoyment, are just some ways that our resident’s quality of life has been improved directly because of donations made by people that care.All donors will receive a Charitable Donation Receipt for cash donations made to our facility. These donations are a tax-deductible expense. Please call or visit us for information regarding equipment donations, or donations in-kind.

 

 

VOLUNTEERS

We are always in need of willing and eager people to fill a very important role in our facility. A loving hand and a smiling face can make the day for someone in a personal care home environment. Most Residents eagerly look forward to visits from volunteers in our community. Some residents are without local family so bonding with another person in the community can not only be fullfilling for the resident, but for the volunteer as well. There are many areas one could volunteer in our facility; outings, reading, feeding, helping with crafts, playing games, personal visits . . . and the list goes on.If you are interested in volunteering in any way, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator to arrange an interview.
